Jamaica's Beauty, Fashion, Wellness Week Global Beauty Awards “Best Coach” Lu Celania Sierra as International Headliner

Lu Celania Sierra, award-winning model, renowned runway expert, confidence mentor, and recipient of the prestigious 'Best Coach' title has officially announced its first international headliner for the Global Beauty Awards Jamaica Beauty, Fashion & Wellness Week (JABFAWW) 2026.
The highly anticipated event will take place August 16–23, 2026, at the AC Hotel Kingston under the theme, 'The Art of Style for the Mind, Body & Soul'. The week-long celebration is poised to become one of the Caribbean’s premier lifestyle events, bringing together the worlds of beauty, fashion, wellness, entrepreneurship, culture, and personal development.
Sierra’s confirmation represents a major milestone for the inaugural staging, as organizers continue to expand the event’s international reach, while positioning Jamaica as a leading destination for beauty, fashion, wellness, and creative innovation.
Widely regarded as one of the most influential figures in modern pageantry, Sierra has coached and mentored some of the industry’s most successful titleholders. Her expertise in runway performance, confidence development, branding, and stage presence has been showcased on some of the world’s most prestigious platforms, including the Miss USA and Miss Universe competitions. Through her work, she has helped transform contestants into world-class performers, earning global recognition as one of the industry’s most respected coaches and runway authorities.
“Having Lu Celania Sierra join Jamaica Beauty, Fashion & Wellness Week 2026 – AC Hotel Kingston is a tremendous achievement for the event and for Brand Jamaica,” said Atelier Dermoth Williams Limited, CEO, Karl Williams. “Her international reputation, expertise, and impact within the beauty and fashion industries align perfectly with our vision of creating a world-class platform that celebrates excellence, while showcasing Jamaica’s creativity, talent, and global influence.”
Speaking about her involvement in the inaugural event, Sierra expressed her enthusiasm and admiration for Jamaica and its people.
For me, the inaugural Jamaica Beauty, Fashion & Wellness Week is about celebrating resilience, renewal, and the incredible spirit of the Jamaican people,” said Sierra.
“Following the challenges brought by Hurricane Melissa, this event is sending a powerful message to communities across Jamaica and the world that Jamaica is strong, vibrant, and moving forward. I am honored to contribute in a small way to that story of resilience.”
Sierra also expressed her appreciation for the invitation from the event's founders, Atelier Dermoth Williams and team.
“It is such a compliment to be invited as a special guest, speaker, and participant in this wellness event,” she said. “As a coach, former model, and now mentor of confidence, I understand the importance of wellness for the body, mind, and spirit. It is the foundation of determination. Jamaica has such a rich history of producing strong, talented, and inspiring people, so being part of this event is incredibly meaningful to me.”
She added, “A crown may change a title, but wellness, feeling beautiful, and confidence change a life and the energy in the room.”
As part of Jamaica Beauty, Fashion & Wellness Week 2026, AC Hotel Kingston, Sierra will participate in keynote presentations, workshops, mentorship sessions, runway activities, and special appearances focused on confidence building, personal branding, runway excellence, and professional development to better align Jamaica with the global beauty and fashion industries.
